
These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of services by HUBB Group Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England and Wales, to you ("the customer"). By booking or accepting a service from us, you agree to these terms.

We provide the following property services across Essex and the Southeast:
All services are carried out by qualified engineers. We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue a service where access is unsafe or where the scope of work changes materially from what was originally agreed.
Where we provide a written quotation, that price is fixed for the scope of work described. Where we provide an estimate, this is based on available information at the time and may be revised once an engineer has attended and assessed the property.
For hourly-rate services (such as leak detection), the total charge will depend on the time required on site. We will always inform you of our hourly rate before attending. We do not charge for travel time unless otherwise agreed in writing.
All prices are quoted exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise. VAT will be added at the prevailing rate.
A booking is confirmed when we have acknowledged it in writing (by email or SMS) and, where applicable, a deposit has been received. We will confirm the appointment date, time and attending engineer prior to the visit.
We will contact you approximately 30 minutes before arrival. If you are not available to provide access at the agreed time, we reserve the right to treat the appointment as cancelled and retain any deposit paid.
For online bookings, a deposit equal to the first hour's rate (inclusive of VAT) is required at the time of booking. This deposit is deducted from your final invoice.
The remaining balance is due on completion of the work, unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept payment by bank transfer, card or cash. Invoices not paid within 14 days of the due date may be subject to late payment charges under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
Deposits are processed securely through Stripe. HUBB Group Ltd does not store card details.
You may cancel or reschedule your appointment free of charge by giving us at least 24 hours' notice before the scheduled visit. To cancel, contact us by phone on 01206 615212 or by email at admin@hubbgroupltd.co.uk.
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule an appointment due to engineer availability, weather, or circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, we will offer an alternative appointment or a full refund of any deposit paid.
You are responsible for ensuring that we have safe and reasonable access to the property at the agreed time. This includes ensuring that the property is clear of hazards, that pets are secured, and that any relevant areas (e.g. loft, subfloor, plant rooms) are accessible.
If an engineer identifies that it is unsafe to proceed, we reserve the right to suspend the visit. A charge may apply for the attendance time already incurred.
We carry public liability insurance and all work is carried out by trained, qualified engineers. We take care to minimise disruption and damage to your property.
Our liability to you in connection with any service shall not exceed the total value of the invoice for that service. We are not liable for:
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Where a written report is included in the service (e.g. leak detection findings, damp survey), this will be issued to you by email within the timescale agreed at the time of booking. Reports are prepared for the specific property inspected and should not be relied upon for any other purpose.
Our reports are accepted by major UK insurers; however, we cannot guarantee acceptance by any individual insurer or loss adjuster, as their requirements are outside our control.

We will acknowledge your complaint within 2 business days and aim to resolve it within 14 days. If we are unable to resolve the matter directly, we will advise you of any further steps available to you.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
